The Cadillac Formula 1® Team will take on the iconic Circuit de Monaco this weekend (June 5-7) for the Monaco Grand Prix, the sixth round of its debut season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship™ and its first on European soil.

The Monaco Grand Prix is steeped in history, uniquely challenging, and one of the most demanding races of the season. Set against the backdrop of the iconic Monaco harbor and the rolling Maritime Alps, the Circuit de Monaco is made up of iconic yet ultra-punishing sections of track such as Casino Square and Beau Rivage, and legendary corners such as the Fairmont Hairpin, La Rascasse, and Anthony Nogues, which the Cadillac Formula 1® Team will attack over 78 laps of the Principality on Sunday afternoon.

While this weekend marks the Cadillac Formula 1® Team's first time dealing with the unique dynamic, operational, and logistical challenges of Monaco, its two drivers, Checo Perez and Valtteri Bottas, have a history of success on its streets. Checo won the Monaco Grand Prix in 2022 and claimed third in 2016, while Valtteri enjoyed a podium in the 2019 edition of the race and came within touching distance of pole in the same year, invaluable experience which will accelerate the American squad's learning and development.

Having introduced a major upgrade package on home American soil in Miami, and further changes in Canada, the Cadillac Formula 1® Team comes to Monaco armed with a series of further upgrades. They include a new rear wing and exhaust tailpipe, which will help the squad find performance around the low-speed, bumpy, and technical Circuit de Monaco.

Graeme Lowdon: "For any team, but especially for a brand-new team, Monaco is a massive challenge. We've made some notable steps forward in Miami and Montreal, but while Monaco presents opportunities with its unpredictability, our objectives will be the introduction of some further upgrades and to get through the weekend cleanly. The fact that we are being measured to the same standards as other teams reflects that expectations are raised, but at just six races into our debut season, our focus remains on progress and building momentum."

The Cadillac Formula 1® Team has made significant steps forward during the first five rounds of the season, executing its most competitive Grand Prix weekend last time out in Montreal, Canada, during which Checo claimed 11th position on the road in the F1® Sprint race. The team also executed two-car finishes in the Chinese, Japanese, and Miami Grands Prix, as well as the F1® Sprints in China, Miami, and Canada, exhibiting strong reliability throughout the season so far.

Checo Perez: "We made a big step forward in Canada. I was able to race in the midfield in the Sprint and the Grand Prix. Of course, there are areas that we need to improve, but Cadillac is still very new. We are learning all the time and making progress together, as a team, step by step, race by race. Monaco is unique and extremely challenging, but it is one of my favorite races on the calendar. I love street tracks, and I have really fond memories from my win here in 2022, so hopefully we can continue making progress this weekend."

Valtteri Bottas: "It has been a tricky past few races on my side of the garage. We have faced a few issues, but that is to be expected with a brand-new team. It's all part of the learning process. We know that progress takes time, but the team and I are working really well and very closely together to make those steps forward. Clearly, we are making progress and becoming more competitive session by session, which is exciting. It's no secret that Monaco is challenging, but it's a place that I love to race. I am excited to see what we can do."
