Aston Martin reveals Monaco livery

NEWS STORY
03/06/2026

Aston Martin and principal partner Maaden have unveiled a bespoke livery for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.

The livery traces the transformation of metals and minerals from the earth to high-performance engineering. The campaign, titled 'From Rock to Racetrack', aims to bring to life this concept, showcasing how materials unearthed by Maaden are transformed into the building blocks that help power our modern society.

The bespoke Monaco livery features a colour-shifting, iridescent finish created using a specialist wrap material for the first time in Aston Martin Aramco's history. The effect is a livery that will visibly change colour as the car makes its way around the iconic Monaco street circuit, symbolising the transformation of raw materials into advanced technology.

The livery was revealed across Maaden and Aston Martin Aramco social channels through a cinematic film of the AMR26 car emerging from the rock formations and transforming before it races through the Saudi Arabian mountains.

The unique iridescent design will also carry over to driver suits, as well as the helmets and overalls of the team's number 1 mechanics.

Jefferson Slack, Managing Director Commercial, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team: "This weekend, we are proud to celebrate our Principal Partner Maaden through this unique livery takeover at the Monaco Grand Prix. More than a livery alone, the whole campaign highlights the important role Maaden plays in shaping and transforming materials into components we all use - including in the world of Formula One™. We look forward to seeing the striking Maaden design on the streets of Monaco this weekend."

Bob Wilt, Chief Executive Officer, Maaden: "Minerals power the modern world - yet mining remains one of its most underestimated industries. That changes now. Our partnership with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team gives us a global stage to prove it. We want the next generation of engineers, geologists, innovators and problem-solvers to see that the materials shaping the future are forged deep in the earth. And Maaden is at the heart of that story. With 'From Rock to Racetrack' we're bringing that to life: how the metals and minerals we extract show up in the technology, infrastructure and innovation driving the world forward. This is more than a campaign. It's a challenge - to look at mining, and Maaden, differently."

Dare we suggest a little less of the 'From Rock to Racetrack' and a bit more of the 'From Laughing Stock to Serious Contender'.
