Up to and including the 2025 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix there have been 1,138 rounds of the official Formula One World Championship

The F1 points scoring system has seen many changes over the years and therefore accurate comparisons are virtually impossible.

The Constructors' Championship didn't come into being until 1958 therefore legendary teams such as Lancia, and Maserati do not appear.

Furthermore up until fairly recently teams only kept the points earned by their highest placed finisher.

Therefore the list below gives little insight into the true historical points standings but it is useful for comparing the 'performance' of the modern teams.

In 2010, the FIA introduced a new system that saw points awarded to the first 10 finishers on a 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 basis.

* Pitpass does not include the Indianapolis 500 which formed part of the World Championship between 1950 and 1960
