Max Verstappen: "It was a great result for us in Monza and we really maximised our performance to achieve a podium.

Looking to Madrid this week, it is hard to know how we will perform there. We have practiced on the sim and it looks like a more challenging track to drive, as with most street circuits, particularly because there are so many tricky corners. We will also need to assess the grip level when we go drive on Friday and then build it up from there. The practice sessions will be important to get as many learnings as possible before Qualifying. Saying this, it is a new track for everyone and hopefully we can hit the ground running well and get off to a good start."

Liam Lawson: "Madrid is going to be an interesting weekend for everyone. We've only run the track in the simulator so far, so the first practice session will tell us a lot about where we really stand. It's a unique circuit and the banked corner should make things interesting. Monza was a challenging weekend from the start with the engine change putting us on the back foot, so it was difficult to fully show what we were capable of. The positive is that we found some good pace as the weekend progressed, which gives us confidence heading into Madrid."
