Red Bull has confirmed that Isack Hadjar will sit-out this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix at the Madring.

"After racing for the team in Zandvoort and Monza, Liam will continue to drive alongside Max at this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid," said Red Bull in a statement issued this evening.

"The decision has been taken as Isack's recovery continues to progress positively," it continued. "While he is not yet ready to return to the cockpit, he will be in Madrid supporting the team.

"Everyone at Red Bull Racing looks forward to welcoming Isack back behind the wheel very soon."

The Frenchman first missed the Dutch Grand Prix after suffering a fracture of his wrist while boxing training during the summer break.

At Zandvoort, and again at Monza, he was replaced by Liam Lawson, while Yuki Tsunoda replaced the New Zealander at Racing Bulls.

The next race is in Azerbaijan on 26 September, the first of several triple-headers over the coming months.
