Pitpass Podcast - Martin Brundle special

NEWS STORY
25/04/2013

In a Pitpass special, Martin Brundle sat down with Mat Coch for an in-depth look at the Englishman's career as both a racing driver and broadcaster.

Following a twelve year Formula One career with teams including Benetton, Ligier, Brabham, McLaren and Tyrrell, not to mention victory at Le Mans in 1990 and a thrilling season long duel with Ayrton Senna in F3, he turned to television alongside veteran broadcaster Murray Walker.

During an in-depth thirty-minute chat Brundle reveals his frustrations over his debut Formula One year, his motives for moving in to sports car racing and why he believes his career ended.

Brundle also gives away the secret to his famous one-liners, revealing they're perhaps not as spontaneous as we might have thought.
