de la Rosa gets a reprimand

NEWS STORY
27/03/2010

Former GPDA chairman, Pedro de la Rosa, has received an official reprimand from the stewards in Melbourne after they adjudged him as having impeded another driver.

While the increased number of cars is clearly a problem on the Albert Park track it has been noticed that de la Rosa, former leader of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association, has been one of the more noticeable culprits when it comes to not using mirrors and generally getting in the way of rivals.

Therefore, it didn't come as too much of a surprise when the Spaniard was hit with an official reprimand following an incident in this morning's practice session.

Thus far, the Melbourne stewards have handed out fines to Bruno Senna and Adrian Sutil (1600 euros each) for speeding the pitlane on Friday, and Nico Hulkenberg (1800 euros) for a similar offence this morning.
