Fernando Alonso didn't hesitate when it was suggested that he might have been suffering a touch of attention-deficit in Bahrain last month.

The Daily Mail's Jon McEvoy asked the World Champion to comment on claims that Ron Dennis had had to speak to the Spaniard, and put his arm around him in a gesture of support, because he felt resentment at the spotlight falling on teammate Lewis Hamilton.

"I had no conversation with Ron, so that is not true," said the Spaniard. "We have a fantastic relationship between all three drivers, Pedro, Lewis and me, and we try to help the team as much as we can and we did a good start with five podiums, six possible podiums, in three races for the two cars, and thanks to that we are leading in both championships, drivers and constructors.

"I think that is the mentality of the team and the atmosphere we need to keep if we want to win," he continued. "We will see, we have done only three races, but for sure it is good to have competition in the team as I have had in the last three or four years in the first few races."

Back in Britain, The Sun, after just three races, has short-listed Lewis Hamilton for its 'Greatest Living Brit 2007' award. The English youngster is one of three people nominated for the Sports Award, the others being boxer Joe Calzaghe and 'adventurer' Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

Ironically, one of three people short-listed for the Business Award is Simon Fuller, the man responsible for the wonderful myearthdream nonsense at Honda.

Results of the award will be announced on May 21, by which time Lewis will have contested four races.
