A1 GP: Drivers, Seat Holders and Race Teams

The World Cup of Motorsport is a nations sport with no drivers' championship. In line with A1 Grand Prix's Sporting Regulations, every A1 Team retains the right to add guest drivers or change their driver line-up between race weekends.

Up to three drivers per A1 Team may be signed on for each A1 event. These drivers must be nominated in writing on the Thursday afternoon before the race weekend. The choice of drivers for practice, qualifying or either race is at the discretion of the team principal. Only one driver per team per session is allowed.

The drivers' names currently submitted to A1 - though not necessarily racing at Brands Hatch - are as follows:

Australia: Christian Jones, Will Power and Will Davison
Austria: Mathias Lauda
Brazil: Nelson Piquet Jr and Joćo Paulo Oliveira
Canada: Sean McIntosh
China: Ma Qinghua and Teng Yi Jiang
Czech Rep: Tomas Enge, Jarek Janis and Jan Charouz
France: Alexandre Premat and Nicolas Lapierre
Germany: Timo Scheider
Great Britain: Robbie Kerr and Alex Lloyd
India: Karun Chandhok and Armaan Ebrahim
Indonesia: Ananda Mikola
Ireland: Ralph Firman and Michael Devaney
Italy: Matteo Bobbi, Gianmaria Bruni and Daniel La Rosa
Japan: Ryo Fukuda and Hideki Noda
Lebanon: Kalil Beschir and Basil Shaaban
Malaysia: Alex Yoong and Fairuz Fauzy
Mexico: Salvador Duran
Netherlands: Jos Verstappen and Jeroen Bleekemolen
New Zealand: Jonny Reid and Matt Halliday
