Williams admits that Rosberg is being considered

NEWS STORY
16/09/2005

As speculation over who might replace Nick Heidfeld in the remaining rounds of the 2005 Formula One World Championship continues, assuming that the German doesn't fully recover from his shoulder injury in time, WilliamsF1 boss, Frank Williams, has not ruled out test driver Nico Rosberg.

"Nico is on a list with quite a few other people," he told The Guardian, "and with quite a few variables to be considered before we reach the conclusion whether or not Nico is the right candidate to represent us.

One of the variables is obviously whether or not Nick is fit. But no decision has yet been made."

Since those comments were made, however, Nick has confirmed that he will be leaving WilliamsF1 for BMW next season.
