James Vowles, Team Principal: "This weekend's been tough since the first laps of FP1. We haven't had the pace.

"I think there was more in it today, we didn't get it all right, but the reality is it's a few positions and the disappointment is the gap to the top 10 is large. But that news isn't new to us - we know the challenge in front of us and what we have to accomplish for next year. That doesn't make it easier on any given weekend but we'll give our all tomorrow and carry on maximising our learnings for next year's car."

Carlos Sainz: "It's been a tough weekend and probably more difficult than we expected, however ahead of qualifying, we made some setup changes that actually made the car feel better. My last lap was coming together very well, with very strong first and second sectors, but I made a mistake into turn 15 which potentially cost us some positions. In any case, tomorrow's race will be tough for us as I don't expect our pace to be enough to fight our way up the order. However, there are more things to learn from the car and I'm looking forward to executing our best race possible and see where that takes us."

Alex Albon: "Not the cleanest Saturday. We went out quite early at the end of Q1, so we'll look at the run plan and review the data from today. I'm still searching for rhythm with this car and the tyres. We're throwing everything at it, and trying to maximise the pace that we do have, but we also knew this track would expose our weaknesses. We might try something different tomorrow and see what comes our way."
