F1 legend Alain Prost has been injured in a robbery at his home in Switzerland.

Blick reports that Prost and his family suffered a break-in at their home in Nyon, with the masked raiders forcing the sone of the four-time world champion to open a safe.

"According to the first elements of the investigation, on Tuesday morning, May 19, several hooded individuals entered the house," reads a statement from the Vaud Cantonal Police.

"Once inside, they threatened the occupants and slightly injured a family member in the head, in circumstances that remain to be established.

"The perpetrators then forced another family member to open a safe before fleeing with loot, the precise inventory of which is being evaluated."

Meanwhile, another former Ferrari driver, Mika Salo, has been stabbed in Bangkok. Seemingly the Finn was stabbed by a passing moped rider as he crossed a road.

Ilta-Sanomat quotes Salo as saying: "The doctors had to sew some muscle and then some skin on top of it. There are 28 stitches in total."

Revealing that there had been a number of similar incidents that say, Salo added: "Luckily this one hit my leg and not anything else."
