"I don't have a problem with the decision to penalise Max. It was clearly out of track limits. I do have a problem with the consistency of the track limits regulations though as he wasn't the only one to have done so but was the only one penalised.

For those who are bitching about demoting Max and it's no biggie to cross the white line. If they are such great drivers, they should be able to do the over taking without leaving track lmits otherwise they might as well straightline all the corners and be the 'heroes' you think they are. If he'd tried that move at Monaco or Baku...he'd be dead, NOT a hero. It was a great move by Max, it's just a shame it wasn't a legal one."

"Charlie Whiting you old man. We want to see racing and overtaking and not such awkward decisions as punishing someone for overtaking, just because he crossed a white line. Maybe it is time to retire ..."
