Ferrari names 2015 contender the SF15-T

NEWS STORY
26/01/2015

Ferrari has revealed that its 2015 contender, to be driven by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, will be known as the SF15-T

The designation is a result of, according to the team, the current year and the "T" for turbo combined, and was "chosen by the people in Maranello". New this year however, is the "S" for Scuderia.

The F15T is officially launched online on Friday, before making its track debut, in the hands of Vettel, on Sunday at Jerez.

Having finished a distant fourth in 2014, the first season since 1993 in which it failed to score a single win, much is expected of the Italian team, especially in light of the recruitment of Vettel and the various other hirings and firings.

However, as Pitpass first warned in mid-December, let's hope that - ignoring the 'S' for Scuderia - Ferrari has not made a complete F15T of it all.

""Much is expected of the Italian team" especially by its senior management...erm...who have spent much of the past month saying that they know it's going to be a very difficult start to the year...erm...so, yeah, much is expected? By whom exactly?

Anyway. Maybe "driving a fist" has a meaning in Italian that shows virility or something? No? Well, anything must be better than driving a F14T."
