Letting Glen 'Crompo' Crompton loose in the Pitpass studio was never going to end well… and so it proved to be.

With his own unique insight and opinion - or so he tells us - Crompo (right) joins Editor Chris Balfe and regular host Mat Coch in examining just where the fun in Formula One has gone.

Nobody is safe with Kimi Raikkonen, Eddie Irvine and even Elio Salazar getting a mention as the trio discuss whether Formula One, as a romantic and emotive sport, has perhaps become too corporate.

They also take to task the technical regulations, and while they can't seem to actually agree on anything Balfe, Coch and Crompo at least believe the current regulations are as much the problem as they are a band-aid solution.

Also thrown in to the mix is Matt Somerfield who gets to the nitty-gritty on exhausts, which he believes is the source of Williams' woes, and explains why he thinks McLaren is struggling with aerodynamics and not suspension. Pit stops and costs get a mention too in an in-depth look at the technical side of the sport.
