The moment has finally arrived as the last Grand Prix of the 2011 season got underway today in Interlagos. For HRT F1 Team the first day of practice sessions at the Brazilian Grand Prix was trouble-free. In the morning's first session, Czech driver Jan Charouz made his debut at a Formula 1 Grand Prix at the wheel of an F111 and made the most of his 90 minutes completing 37 laps (160 kilometres), more than any driver out on track. Daniel's scheduled set-up programme was much more extensive as he also drove at the 4.309km track for the first time. The aussie completed a total of 75 laps to finish the day in 23rd place. Just behind him was teammate Vitantonio Liuzzi who regained his seat for the second practice session. Both Ricciardo and Liuzzi worked on improving the F111's grip, using both medium and soft compound tyres.
