Timo Glock will lead iSport International's assault on the 2007 GP2 series, joining Andi Zuber at the British team. iSport International have become the latest GP2 series team to confirm their complete 2007 line-up, with this morning's announcement that Timo Glock will return to the squad to launch an attack on the 2007 championship.

The German, who won the award for the most improved driver of 2006, took two wins in the series last season and until a season-ending accident in Monza Timo had been the highest scoring driver of the second half of the season.

"We are delighted to be renewing our relationship with Timo," a team statement said. "His record during 2006 speaks for itself. We think we have found two excellent drivers who will be compatible and be able to fight for the Championship.

"We have got to know these two guys very well and they fit in so well with the team, we are confident they will make an extremely strong pairing. Timo’s proven track record and Andi’s great potential sees the team heading into 2007 with a good deal of optimism."

Timo himself is naturally delighted to be returning next season for a team with whom he has had so much success. “My half season with iSport in 2006 was so good, I always wanted to continue," he confirmed. "I have just been waiting for everything to fall into place. For sure, my target is to win the Championship, but we also understand that there is some very strong opposition. I will be testing in Valencia and as far as I am concerned, next year starts there."

Andi, too, was clearly delighted with his new team's line-up. “This is great news for me also. I have been hoping that my team mate would be someone very strong like Timo. It helps the team make better progress and it gives me a good benchmark, if I can beat him, I know I am doing well. I look forward to working with Timo and I am sure we can achieve good results."
