Greece unveils team for debut season

Greece has become the second new country to join the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport ahead of its second season, the first being Singapore.

Stathis Basios and Dimitris Nafpliotis will lead their national team, which will be supported by experienced drivers such as Stelios Nousias, Takis Kaitatzis, Vasilis Papafilippou and Nikos Zahos.

Dimitris Nafpliotis will provide the technical support for Team Greece while also fulfilling the role of Team Manager. He will be joined by 13 mechanics, five of whom are Greek, while the rest come from other countries. Stathis Basios will be the commercial and operations manager for A1 Team Greece.

A1 Team Greece will make its maiden appearance at Zandvoort on October 1.
