Constant speculation linking Kimi Raikkonen with a move to Ferrari in 2007, is clearly getting on, McLaren boss, Ron Dennis' nerves.

Following the Finn's own denial on Thursday that a deal has been done, Dennis was asked about the move at Suzuka following today's qualifying session.

"Why don't you guys believe Kimi?" boomed the Englishman, clearly exasperated, "I don't understand it.

"He's told me, his management has told me, and Kimi told a press conference, with no strings, no puppeteering from me, that he hasn't signed a contract with Ferrari.

"It's as simple as that," her continued. "But the only person who can tell you he has not signed a document with Ferrari is Kimi. I can't. I haven't a clue what he's signed. However, If lots of people are not telling me the truth and if something occurs in the future, I will look at it clinically and analytically."

Dennis clearly blames the media for the continued speculation and the refusal to accept the denials.

"Anybody can put anything on a website and it's considered fact," he said. "Something that's a rumour becomes a fact. But it's certainly not that at the moment."
