Err, what's that again Paul?

Talking to Reuters following today's meeting of the eight team bosses with Bernie Ecclestone - Ferrari and Sauber didn't attend - Paul Stoddart had the following to say.

"Silverstone and Magny-Cours were signed off today. Nothing can destroy Magny-Cours and the only thing that can destroy Silverstone is the BRDC," the Australian told Reuters.

"The difference in opinion between FOM and the BRDC is not that big," added McLaren's Ron Dennis. "All of the teams feel it's not an insurmountable problem."

Err, weren't the British and French events "signed off" some time ago, when the teams magnanimously accepted Bernie Ecclestone's financial offer to compete in 19 races?

And didn't Paul Stoddart, the team bosses and much of the media tell us at the time that it was Ferrari that threatened the British Grand Prix?
