The FIA's technical delegate's report following yesterday's Canadian GP, reads as follows:

After the race today, the air ducts for the purpose of cooling the front brakes have been checked on all cars in Parc Fermé, which have finished the race. The air ducts of car numbers 03, 04, 16 and 17 have been found not to be in compliance with Article 11.4 of the 2004 Formula One Technical Regulations. I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration.

This was signed off at 15:40 by the technical delegate, Jo Bauer.

One hour and twenty minutes later, Bauer issue a further report:

It was confirmed for car numbers 04 and 09 that the minimum weight of 600 kg was respected all times during the race.

Start data of car numbers 01, 04, 06 and 09 have been checked.

Steering wheel checks have been carried out on car number 06.

The data loggers of the refuelling rigs of car numbers 01, 02 and 04 have been checked.

The tyres used by all drivers during the sessions today have been checked.

Fuel samples were taken from car numbers 04 and 06.

The fuel samples have been checked for density and analysed by gas chromatography.

The results of all the fuel analyses show that the fuels were the same as ones, which had been approved for use by the relevant competitors prior to the Event.

Except the air ducts for the purpose of cooling the front brakes on car numbers 03, 04, 16 and 17 (see separate report), all car weights and the items checked were found to be in conformity with the 2004 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.

The fact that the the brake ducts did not conform is one matter, however the big question would appear to be, why WilliamsF1 and Toyota?
