Senna admits he's struggling to find a seat

As Colin Kolles announces that there is no place for Bruno Senna at Hispania, the Brazilian admits that his chances of an F1 drive in 2011 are running out.

With Hispania now having confirmed Narain Karthikeyan, and Toro Rosso likely to retain both its 2010 drivers, the only other (race) vacancy - other than the second seat at HRT - is at Force India where Paul di Resta and Tonio Liuzzi are both in the frame to partner Adrian Sutil.

Speaking to Reuters, Senna, of whom his uncle Ayrton once famously said; "If you think I'm fast, just wait until you see my nephew", admits his hopes are rapidly diminishing.

"The situation is a bit difficult in F1 right now," he said, "I didn't really have the opportunity to show what I could do last year because of various problems and that didn't help me for this season.

"We are in talks for the few opportunities that are still open," he added, "but I can't say it's very easy at the moment. Even Nico (Hulkenberg) is struggling to find a competitive seat.

"We may see some talents wasted because of the current situation," he lamented. "I hope I can take any opportunities that are available... you never know."
