As part of the build up to the A1GP season finale at Brands Hatch, where the thrilling 2007/2008 championship will be decided in just over a week's time (2-4 May), A1 Team Great Britain's Robbie Kerr was in London to celebrate St George's Day and drum up support for his nation.

Kerr brought the distinctive red, white and blue British A1GP car to St Katharine's Dock by one of London's most iconic venues – Tower Bridge - to gather support for A1 Team Great Britain ahead of his home race.

Kerr, who also carries his nation's colours on his crash helmet, said: "I'm very proud to be English and to represent Great Britain in A1GP. It doesn't matter where I go in the world, England is my home and I love to come back here."

Twenty-eight-year-old Kerr has already made A1GP history, becoming the first driver ever to win a race on home soil when he took victory in the Brands Hatch Sprint race in 2007, and he will be aiming for a repeat performance this year.

Kerr added: "It's great to be back at Brands Hatch as we always receive tremendous support from the crowd. It was wonderful to win on home soil last year and I'm hoping this year we can go one better and win both the Sprint and Feature race."

Ahead of the final round at Brands Hatch on 2–4 May, A1GP World Cup of Motorsport will make a pit stop in London's West End on Sunday 27 April. Lower Regent Street will be transformed into an A1GP grid with all 22 nations' single-seater race cars lining up. As part of the festivities, fans will be able to purchase tickets for the main event at Brands Hatch the following weekend.
