Lauda looking forward to racing again

NEWS STORY

A1 Team Austria will be back in action this weekend at the A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Duban, South Africa, which forms round seven of the A1 Grand Prix series. Mathias Lauda will lead the charge for the team, and is hoping for a strong result following his seventh-place finish in Dubai in December.

Mathias will drive the street circuit for the first time in two one-hour practice sessions on Friday, before tackling the four-part qualifying session on Saturday afternoon. Both the 30-minute sprint race and one-hour feature race will take place on Sunday afternoon.

Mathias Lauda: "I am looking forward to racing again, we’ve had a long break over winter, but now I am ready to get in the car again. Durban is a new circuit for us but we really started to make some progress at the last races so I hope we can carry on improving and get some good results here. The weather is not so good today;
it has been raining very badly, so we will see what happens with that over the weekend."
