Todt denies Liuzzi speculation

Despite rumours linking F3000 championship leader Vitantonio Liuzzi with Ferrari, team boss Jean Todt has denied having any special interest in the Italian.

"I do follow young drivers," said the Frenchman at the weekend. "But it's my son who follows them more," he revealed, referring to Nicolas who manages Felipe Massa.

"I am trying to see who are the talented young drivers," he admitted. "But in all honesty, at Ferrari, at the moment, until 2007 at the earliest, we don't have any vacancies.

"That doesn't mean I don't follow what Liuzzi is doing," he admitted, "or what is the name of the Austrian guy who won," he added, referring to Patrick Friesacher, who won the F3000 round on Saturday.

"I follow racing, I follow rallying," he continued, "so I follow Liuzzi as well, but Ferrari is not intending to make any offer to Liuzzi."

We believe you Jean, we believe you.
