Adam Khan and A1 Team Pakistan are returning to compete in the A1 Grand Prix of Nations this weekend after a three event absence due to driver injury. Adam is now fit and looking forward to making his reacquaintance with his A1 Grand Prix car at such a highly rated track.

Laguna Seca is a 3.6km/ 2.24 mile track renowned for big changes in level amidst the coastal California mountainous surroundings. The most famous feature is the two-turn combination known as the 'Corkscrew' – a spiral with an elevation drop of 20 feet/ 7 metres.

Looking forward to the challenge, Adam is aiming for a top ten finish to score more points for A1Team.Pak. The team will work on set-up during the three one-hour practice sessions before qualifying on Saturday afternoon. A good starting slot would help in the thirty minute Sprint race on Sunday, the results of which will determine his starting place for the one-hour Feature race.

Adam Khan "It's a fabulous track! My first impression is that it's like Brands Hatch but with more extreme gradients. It's going to be very exciting racing. The Corkscrew basically is a blind crest into a near vertical drop. I can't wait to try it in an A1 car. Obviously with the gap I've missed the opportunity to score points. I've come here to do my best and I'm confident that with a good set-up we can nail a top-ten and more valuable points."
