Update on Watkins tribute

20/09/2012

FOM has pointed out that rather than a minute's applause there will be a minute's silence in respect of Professor Sid Watkins before Sunday's Grand prix.

Earlier today, the FIA revealed that there would be a minute's applause, however, FOM points out that this was a misunderstanding.

Personally, we feel that applause is more of a celebration of the life being paid tribute to.

Either way, it is good that the paddock is to pay its respect to a great man so publicly.
