Days after losing out to teammate Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas tops the timesheets on the first morning of Barcelona testing.

All ten teams are in action, with Ferrari and Racing Pint both providing an additional car for the purpose of 2020 tyre testing for Pirelli.

Along with a number of regular drivers who were in action on Sunday, there are a number of young drivers in action, including Pietro Fittipaldi (Haas), Nick Yellowly (Racing Point), Callum Ilott (Alfa Romeo) and Nicholas Latifi in the Williams.

A largely uneventful, though for a number of teams vital, session thus far, the two moments of drama being Bottas getting a plastic bollard stuck in his aero rake and the announcement of Zandvoort's return to the F1 calendar, possibly at the expense of Barcelona.

In total the twelve drivers have completed a total of 692 laps, with Pierre Gasly completing the most (77) and Nico Hulkenberg (26) the least.

Vettel and Perez are the two drivers carrying out prototype testing for Pirelli.
