Protestor's body found near Bahrain capital

21/04/2012

It is claimed that a body with gunshot wounds has been found following overnight clashes between protestors and the police near the Bahrain capital Manama.

According to Reuters, activists claim the man's body was found with gunshot wounds in Shakoura, near Manama after large scale protests were held in the build-up to the weekend, some of which turned violent.

The news comes after both Sauber and Force India staff were involved in incidents on their way to and from the circuit. No personnel were hurt in either incident, though security has been stepped up with armoured vehicles now patrolling Manama.
