Former F1 racer Stuck injured in endurance race
30/04/2007 We hear that Hans Stuck - who contested 74 Grand Prix between 1974 and 1979 - was injured during an endurance race at the weekend. The 56-year-old German, who was competing at the Nurburgring Nordschleife at the weekend, was lapping another car when his BMW Z4 left the track and hit a stationary car. We understand that his injuries, which include a broken lumbar vertebra and a bruised heart, are less serious than initially feared though he's likely to be in hospital in Koblenz for a few days. |
