Only a handful of days remain for the on-line Formula One and motor sports memorabilia auction organised by Absolute Authentic in aid of former colleague,
hospitality manager Chris Mays, who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident in Thailand last year. Launched on 8th September 2006, the auction is hosted on the Absolute Authentic website.

A host of Formula One TM drivers have donated signed items for the auction, including Rubens Barrichello, Jenson Button and Michael Schumacher, with McLaren Mercedes and Red Bull Racing also contributing. For the majority of the items, the auction will end between Wednesday 4th and Saturday 7th October, with items ranging from signed race overalls belonging to Ferrari's multiple World Champion Michael Schumacher and Red Bull Racing star David Coulthard, to signed helmets belonging to British favourite Jenson Button, Takuma Sato and Jarno Trulli.

The proceeds from the auction will generate much needed funds for the Chris Mays Foundation, a registered charity, caring for both Chris and his dependents. The injuries Chris sustained in the accident have left him needing around the clock care and his partner and their young daughters with the risk of financial hardship.
