Super Aguri hits the track (with pictures)

21/02/2006

Super Aguri began its first ever official F1 test this morning, when Takuma Sato took to the track at Barcelona.

Unfortunately, the car had only completed three laps when it ran into technical difficulties, bringing out the first red flag of the week. At the time of the failure, the best lap was over 11s off the pace.

As the teams stopped for lunch, the SA05 was still being worked on in its garage.
