Up until 13:59 on Saturday 27 May, 2006, it all looked to be going well. Michael Schumacher held provisional pole position, but championship rival Fernando Alonso and several others were still on hot laps, and therefore in with a good chance of taking the most coveted grid position on this most tricky, tight and twisty of circuits.

And then it happened.

I have been enjoying it more and more , especially with Schumi and Ferrari taking a couple of wins recently , however, the latest incidence regarding the demotion of Michael to the back of the grid, as the great man himself, and probably most other fans think too, was very excessive punishment for a perceived infringement of the rules by the F1 Stewards.
