Sunday: Reverted to spare car used yesterday by Barrichello in warm-up. Did best time in spare car, however. Sunday: Quickest in warm-up, now using Schumacher's former race car. Very happy with car. Just lost out to Ralf at start, so into third place behind him to first pit stop on lap 32 in 7.4s. Emerged ahead of Ralf in second place and pulled out 10s gap to him by second pit stop on lap 47, long in 13.9s due to problem with left rear wheel. Caught up to within 12s of Michael but then told to ease up to conserve engine. 2nd

3. David Coulthard

Sunday: Fine tuning race set-up in warm-up. Stayed sixth at start but dropping behind teammate, complaining of lack of grip and much understeer in opening stages. Friday: Struggling for grip on Michelin's wet and intermediate rubber. 4th/1m 38.747s

4. Kimi Raikkonen

Sunday: Used spare car briefly in warm-up, working on final race set-up. Slotted into fifth place in early stages, initially challenging Montoya but soon dropped back, in spite of promising handling. Pitted on lap 30 in slowih 10.8s but remained fifth. However, retired with broken exhaust allowing hot gasses onto suspension on lap 44. Retired
