We regret to announce that our post-Austrian Grand Prix podcast has been shelved.

Exact details are somewhat sketchy, however it is understood that in a fit of pique editor Chris Balfe trashed the UK studio after discovering that he had accidentally mislaid his copy of Niki Lauda's For the Record .

Meanwhile, in Australia, in another fit of pique - there's a lot of it about - Mat Coch and Max Noble who had spent the hours since last weekend's race relaxing by their pool discussing the weekend's controversial events, had a major falling out.

Coch would only say that their relationship was now "really, really bad", whilst Noble nodded in agreement.

It is hoped that within the next 24 hours, once the mess has been cleared up and the right people paid off and silenced, Balfe will be able to say that his UK studio was never really trashed, whilst Coch and Noble will confirm that their relationship was never "really, really bad".

Balfe vehemently denies reports that his explosion was caused by debris.

No additional token necessary to make two more mics with the same spec., this all smoke and mirrors to hide that Matt and his side of the garage gets preferential treatment. For some reason (family ties maybe ?!?!) Max always gets the short end of the stick."

Furthermore I spent the last of my tokens in the Hot Chocolate machine, which actually tea and coffee to the chocolate, hence another trashing."

"It is not fair to introduce the aerodynamic microphone only to Mat at such a critical stage in the championship, when Mat and Max are so evenly matched. This could be the part that changes the course of the championship, I would urge Chris to reconsider and wait with the upgrade until sufficient new ones can be made available (one for each and at least one spare). The team has such a huge lead in the championship that this kind of "team orders" are not necessary."
