"Charlieahill, I agree! Better to take away a Tilke track and have both Monza and Imola a slot on the calendar!"

"Interesting view: in my opinion, the third option could be the best one, considering a realistic and long term financial project, not relying on a public intervention that, nowadays, can not be supported for a lot of reasons.
The weak point of this plan is represented by Mugello, owned by Ferrari: would Marchionne be involved in Monza and Mugello, investing in two tracks in Italy? As a lifelong F1 fan, born in Monza and living a few miles from the Autodromo, i would like to hope! "

"Imola and Monza are both great tracks... far better than any of this new Hermann Tilke designed modern rubbish. We used to have racing at both Imola and Monza, why can we not go back to having two great races in Italy?

Oh, and to get over the obvious concerns of cost, stop being greedy Bernie, give good races a chance to host races and make their own profit, or you'll find yourself with no fans, and ultimately no income."
