In some ways, despite the eleven drivers on duty completing 437 laps between them, it's been a fairly uneventful morning, seeing as there hasn't been a single red flag.

As one might expect, the flow-viz paint is being used copiously as the teams try to get a better understanding of what's working and what isn't. Having unveiled its FW35 only yesterday, Williams, which has Valtteri Bottas on duty, has wasted no time in updating the car, the Grove outfit trying a new front wing today (above).

Hamilton, particularly, and Bottas have put some long runs together, the Englishman, along with Vettel and Perez looking quite comfortable thus far.

While Alonso hasn't been as busy as yesterday, Sauber, with Hulkenberg taking over from Gutierrez, insists it is not going for lap times at present.

As for Kimi Raikkonen, Lotus has revealed that the lack of laps - he's done only four - is due to a gearbox, though the Enstone outfit isn't giving any more away.
