Jerez launch for Marussia

31/01/2013

Marussia has announced that its 2013 contender will be unveiled at Jerez on Tuesday, the first day of pre-season testing.

The team, which has yet to confirm its full-line-up, having parted company with Timo Glock due to financial reasons, will unveil the MR02 in the pitlane at 08:18 (CET) on Tuesday, shortly before Caterham unveils its car.

Max Chilton will drive the MR02 for the first day of the test with the team promising that the full test schedule will be communicated later that day.

There has been speculation today that Brazilian Luiz Razia, who was previously test driver with Virgin Racing and then Team Lotus, will fill the second seat.
