Oops, Perez lets slip

22/11/2012

Sergio Perez appears to have inadvertently revealed Saubers plans to partner Esteban Gutierrez with Nico Hulkenberg next season.

While the Swiss team has yet to confirm its 2013 line-up, and amidst growing speculation the Kamui Kobayashi might retain his seat, in conversation with Spanish speaking journalists at Interlagos, Perez appeared to let the cat out of the bag.

"The car will be strong because the rules don't change much, and the team have a good experienced driver in Nico and he will have a strong team mate in Esteban," said the Mexican.

However, when asked for more details he quickly added. "We are waiting for the announcement."

There is talk that the Swiss outfit will confirm its line-up before the end of the weekend.
