Amalgam releases the McLaren F1

05/10/2012

Amalgam has released a strictly limited edition of the McLaren F1, the fastest naturally aspirated production car in the world.

Designed by Gordon Murray, only 106 were built in total and on 31 March 1998, it set the record for the fastest road car in the world, topping 231 mph.

The engine cover and doors can be opened showing off the incredibly intricate detailing on this stunning 1:8 scale model which is issued in a strictly limited run of 199.

The pictures in our gallery hardly do this model justice, the craftsmanship and attention to detail really has to be seen to be believed.

Check out the full mouth-watering range of products, at the Amalgam website.
