We have a winner

30/05/2012

As if further proof of 2012 being the year of the F1 lottery were needed, only two people correctly predicted the result of the Monaco Grand Prix in our recent competition.

While many predicted that Mark Webber would take victory on the streets of the Principality, others convinced that anyone from Fernando Alonso to Paul di Resta might do the business, of the many entries received only two people correctly predicted that the Australian would lead home Nico Rosberg.

Of those two 'winners', Stephen Challis from South London predicted that would be 15 finishers (there were 16), while Geoff Williams from Boyanup in Western Australia said there would be just 9.

Therefore, our fantastic 1:1 scale Mercedes WO3 steering wheel is on its way to Stephen, courtesy of our good friends at Amalgam, a 1:4 scale version is on its way to Geoff as a consolation prize.

Well done guys!

We will have another competition in time for the European Grand Prix.
