Grid penalty for Raikkonen

Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen has been handed a five-place grid penalty after his team opted to replace the gearbox on his car following today's practice sessions.

The decision to change the Finn's gearbox was made by the Enstone team via twitter, the team revealing: "A bit more work for Kimi's crew this evening. An issue with Kimi's gearbox so we're changing it now."

The news follows a difficult day for the British team which saw the Finn also suffer a KERS problems in the second session and his teammate Romain Grosjean compromised by an issue with an incorrectly seated rear wheel nut in the morning and a cut rear tyre in the afternoon.
