Williams to unveil FW34 on Tuesday

31/01/2012

Williams has announced that its 2012 contender, the FW34, will be unveiled on Tuesday morning at Jerez.

The Grove outfit, which finished ninth in the 2011 constructors' standings, its worst result in living memory, will roll out the new car between 08:30 and 08:40, shortly before the on-track action begins.

It will be the eighth launch of the year, following McLaren (Wednesday 1), Ferrari and Force India (Friday 3), Lotus F1 (Sunday 5) and Sauber, Red Bull and Toro Rosso next Monday.

Caterham unveiled its car in F1 Racing magazine last Wednesday, the Malaysian team subsequently releasing a couple of non descript pictures.

Pastor Maldonado will be the first driver to run the FW34, the Venezuelan in action on Tuesday and Wednesday before handing over to Bruno Senna for the final two days of the test.
