Toro Rosso confirms launch details

31/01/2012

Toro Rosso has confirmed that its 2012 contender, the STR7, will be unveiled at Jerez on Monday 6 February.

The Faenza outfit's car will be one of several to be unveiled next Monday, the day before the first test of the season gets underway at the Spanish track.

Sauber and Red Bull have already confirmed that they will be unveiling their cars next Monday, with Lotus F1 unveiling its car the day before.

Last week Toro Rosso confirmed that its new car would participate in the Jerez test, though at that time the launch date was not confirmed.

Sauber unveils its car at 11:00 on Monday, with Red Bull pulling the wraps off the RB8 two hours later. For Toro Rosso, Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne will do the honours at 17:30.
