Webber to drive RB8 first

23/01/2012

Red Bull has revealed that Mark Webber will be the first driver to run the team's 2012 contender in anger.

The RB8, which will be unveiled online on 6 February, will take to the track next day at Jerez as the Austrian team seeks to defend the drivers' and constructors' titles it has won for the last two seasons.

Mark Webber, who finished third in the 2011 standings, will drive the car on the first two days of the Jerez test, with teammate, world champion Sebastian Vettel, taking over for the final two days.
