Lotus announces launch details

Lotus F1 Team has announced that it will unveil its 2012 contender on its website on Sunday 5th February at 17:00.

The following day, the car will be on display in the paddock at the Circuito de Jerez, where Kimi Räikkönen, Romain Grosjean, Technical Director James Allison, and Team Principal Eric Boullier will subsequently attend a press conference.

Later in the day, Raikkonen, returning to F1 after a two-year absence, will complete a number of laps in the new car which has yet to be designated a model number.

The team has also revealed that Raikkonen will drive the first two days of the Jerez test before handing over to Grosjean, while the Frenchman will drive the first two days of both Barcelona tests with the Finn at the wheel for the final two days.
