Silverstone launch for Force India

17/01/2012

Sahara Force India has announced that its 2012 contender will be unveiled at Silverstone on Friday 3 February, the same day as Ferrari reveals its car.

The Silverstone-based outfit, the fourth team to confirm its launch date, will reveal the car to the media at around 09:00, with drivers, Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg in attendance along with senior management.

Just four days later it will take to the track at Jerez as the first of three pre-season tests gets underway.

A strong finish to the team' season saw it leapfrog Sauber and close in remorselessly on Renault, however, its own poor start to the season, allied to Renault's strong start, meant that it failed to claim fifth in the standings by just four points.
