McLaren to launch MP4-27 at Woking

McLaren has confirmed that its 2012 contender, the MP4-27 will be launched at the McLaren Technology Centre on 1 February.

The Woking outfit announced the date of the launch in December, but was unable at that time to give details as to where it would happen. This morning the team confirmed that the launch - currently the first of the season - will take place at its Woking HQ.

Last year the launch took place in Berlin, in a nod to sponsor Vodafone for whom Germany is a key market. Indeed, the car was 'assembled', by the winners of a viral competition.
