Mosley's next moves

27/04/2008

Much has been made of embattled FIA president Max Mosley's recent comment that he intends to be at next month's Monaco Grand Prix, but as Pitpass' business reporter Christian Sylt has discovered, his F1 travel plans may well extend beyond that.

"Each year I try to assist with at least one rally as well as several Formula 1 Grands Prix. The reason for coming here is justified because, in my opinion, it's a significant political event," Mosley said recently adding "but this season I will endeavour to attend one or two Grands Prix. Probably Monaco and Silverstone."

So it seems Mosley isn't planning on stepping down at the now-famous FIA extraordinary general assembly on June 3 unless he is intending to attend the British GP the following month as a paying punter. We think not.
