Schumacher back in action as Kovalainen waits

NEWS STORY
28/02/2007

Having been rested yesterday afternoon, after jarring his back on a trip across the kerbs, Ralf Schumacher is back in action for Toyota at Sakhir this morning.

Along the pitlane however, Heikki Kovalainen is kicking his heels as the Renault mechanics work furiously to rebuild his R27 which was badly damaged yesterday.

At lunchtime, Felipe Massa was quickest, almost half-a-second ahead of Hamilton, Fisichella, de la Rosa and Raikkonen.

Both Honda race drivers are in action, following the launch of the team's livery in London on Monday, as are both BMW drivers.

Biggest surprise of the morning session is the fact that Tonio Liuzzi is eighth quickest (of 15) in the Ferrari powered Toro Rosso.
